Job description

Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community, is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team in Johnston, IA! No prior senior care experience necessary! Come and join our supportive, energetic, and passionate team, where your skills will help make an impact on our community.

Position Type: Part‑Time, 20‑24 hour a week, working a varied schedule including some weekend hours.

Location: 5555 Pioneer Parkway, Johnston, IA 50131.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, restrooms, day room and dining room, which may include dusting, vacuuming, washing, and trash removal.
• Launder resident and facility clothing, sheets and towels, including folding, labeling, and distribution to resident rooms.
• Assist in all departments on an as‑needed basis.

Housekeeper Qualifications

• Ability to work with a diverse population of older adults.
• Have the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.
