Job summary

Arbour Square of Harleysville is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain clean, welcoming community spaces and certain resident apartments. You will work in a team to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and comfort for residents and guests.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently when needed. Training is provided if you have limited housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members across the community.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required—you'll be trained.
• Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of common areas (leasing office, restrooms, model apartments, amenities, and vacant homes).
• Maintain cleanliness of certain resident apartments.
• Ensure vacant apartments are clean, fresh, and ready for prospective residents.
• Assist with apartment make-ready preparations and other housekeeping tasks as directed by the Executive Director.
• Monitor the community for safety hazards or conditions affecting residents, visitors, or team members; report promptly.
• Maintain organized inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Help create a clean, comfortable environment that residents are proud to call home.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
