Job summary

Regency Laurel Hill in Grants Pass, Oregon, seeks a dedicated Part-Time Housekeeper. You will maintain residents’ rooms and common areas, follow cleaning schedules and safety rules, and support a home-like environment for seniors.

You will carry supplies, disinfect areas, and coordinate with nursing services while communicating with residents and staff to ensure dignity and quality living for residents.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Compassion for working with the senior population.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and sanitary/safety rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice for residents.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam sterilizers.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas to meet health standards.
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, volunteers and staff.

Part-Time

As a Housekeeper, you maintain residents’ rooms and common areas of the community. You follow cleaning schedules, coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing services, and adhere to sanitary/safety rules and regulations.

You Will:

• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts to supply storage areas, keeping each tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and empty wastebaskets to meet health standards
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment
• Relate and communicate with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees.
