ELS is hiring for the position of Housekeeper in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

What you'll do:

Our housekeepers are an integral part of campground operations because they ensure that our resorts are clean and tidy, and our guests are exceptionally happy. Your dedication to helping us provide a five-star experience for our guests is rewarded with a flexible schedule, a competitive hourly rate, and access to various campground amenities such as game courts and swimming pools.

Your job will include:

1. Cleaning the resort office, clubhouse, public access areas, and models as directed, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal.
2. Cleaning cabins and rentals to prepare for new guests.
3. Maintaining cleanliness in rentals and common areas to our standards.
4. Tracking cleaning supply inventory and requesting refills as needed.
5. Reporting maintenance concerns for repairs in common areas, vacant, or rental homes to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
6. Assisting the maintenance staff and other team members as needed.
7. Helping clean up resort-sponsored guest activities and functions.
8. Responding to guest inquiries promptly and professionally, demonstrating patience and concern.
9. Resolving guest-related issues and addressing conflicts positively.
10. Driving a motorized vehicle to run errands and pick up supplies as needed.
11. Collaborating with management to maintain open communication and ensure team coordination.
12. Providing outstanding customer service.

Experience & skills you need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
