Job summary

The Residence at Dania Beach seeks a diligent housekeeping aide to maintain high standards of cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas. You will learn and operate commercial laundry equipment, ensure safety in all tasks, and support a friendly, collaborative team in a healthcare/amenities setting.

The role requires a reliable schedule, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a flexible availability for weekday and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Reliable and keep to a schedule.
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry experience preferred.
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across designated areas.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working condition.
• Perform duties during weekdays and weekends as available.
• Remove trash and soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
• Collaborate effectively with team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details


• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms


• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility


• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas


• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times


• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds


• Must be able to work as a team member


• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service


• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment

Qualifications and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred


• Must be Reliable and Keep to a Schedule


• May Need to Work a Varied Schedule, as requested


• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred)


• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
