Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Devonshire community in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is seeking a reliable Housekeeper. You will care for the homes within our premium, gated retirement community, with on-site residents and zero travel during shifts.

Shifts include Monday–Wednesday 2:00 PM–10:30 PM and Saturday–Sunday 8:0 AM–4:30 PM. Join a team that values diversity, inclusion and growth as we expand new communities.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in residential or commercial settings.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate housekeeping vehicles.
• Professional interactions with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean residents' homes in Independent Living or Nursing Home.
• Maintain cleanliness of community with specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures.
• Clean lobbies and living rooms including vacuuming, dusting, decluttering, trash removal.
• Clean classrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Assist with trash collection and bagging; replace liners.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces through extraction, cleaning, and vacuuming.

Location: Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as a Housekeeper and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents! We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented professional to care for the homes within our premium, gated retirement community. Best of all, because all of our clients live right here on-site, there is zero travel or commuting between jobs required during your workday!

PRN HOUSEKEEPER - AVAILABLE SHIFTS

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY: 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

SATURDAY & SUNDAY: 8:0 AM to 4:30 PM

How You Will Make An Impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or Resident Rooms in Nursing Home
• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What You Will Need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
