Job summary

Galerie-Living-1 is seeking a diligent Housekeeper to uphold infection control guidelines and local standards while ensuring the highest level of resident care and cleanliness. You will maintain the appearance of the community for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include cleaning common areas and apartments, monitoring daily cleanliness, attending safety and infection control meetings, reporting maintenance issues, and assisting with bedding, laundry, and supply

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safety precautions and compliance with safety procedures.
• Senior Living experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas and residents' apartments according to schedule to maintain a healthy, attractive environment.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness standards in all community areas daily.
• Attend health and safety, infection prevention and control meetings; participate in monthly team meetings.
• Report maintenance issues immediately to the Maintenance Director.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth community operations.
• Assist with bedding changes, laundry, and inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Respond with urgency to cleaning requests and maintain professional conduct with residents and staff.

Job Title: HousekeeperReports To: Maintenance DirectorSummary: The Housekeeper is responsible for observing all guidelines regarding infection control and local standards while assuring the highest degree of quality resident care and cleanliness is always maintained. They will also maintain the appearance of the community for the comfort and use of residents, family members, visitors, and associates.Responsibilities and Duties:The housekeeper will clean common areas and residents’ apartments according to schedule and maintain a healthy and attractive environment • To monitor, check and maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of the community on a daily basis.To adhere to all meetings such as health and safety, infection prevention and control, monthly team meetings.Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.To report any maintenance problems observed either in residents’ bedrooms or around the community immediately to the Maintenance Director.To maintain a professional and helpful attitude whilst on duty towards residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.To collaborate with all the other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the community.To assist when required with the cleaning of resident bedroomsIn addition to cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms and communal spaces, housekeepers may also be required to change bedding, do laundry, and keep inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentRespond with urgency upon requestsThis job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
