Job summary

Galerie-Living-1 is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper in Alpharetta, GA to uphold infection control guidelines and local standards while delivering high-quality resident care and a clean, welcoming environment. You will clean common areas and residents’ apartments on a schedule and support the community’s appearance for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; prior Senior Living experience is preferred.

• Senior Living experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Job Title: HousekeeperReports To: Maintenance DirectorSummary: The Housekeeper is responsible for observing all guidelines regarding infection control and local standards while assuring the highest degree of quality resident care and cleanliness is always maintained. They will also maintain the appearance of the community for the comfort and use of residents, family members, visitors, and associates.Responsibilities and Duties:The housekeeper will clean common areas and residents’ apartments according to schedule and maintain a healthy and attractive environment • To monitor, check and maintain standards of cleanliness within all areas of the community on a daily basis.To adhere to all meetings such as health and safety, infection prevention and control, monthly team meetings.Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and conduct.To report any maintenance problems observed either in residents’ bedrooms or around the community immediately to the Maintenance Director.To maintain a professional and helpful attitude whilst on duty towards residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.To collaborate with all the other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the community.To assist when required with the cleaning of resident bedroomsIn addition to cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms and communal spaces, housekeepers may also be required to change bedding, do laundry, and keep inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentRespond with urgency upon requestsThis job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position.
