TRAVELODGE OF EDGEMONT, SD, managed by Hospitality Management Corporation, is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper. The role involves cleaning guest rooms to hotel standards, restocking carts, reporting damages, and ensuring guest satisfaction across shifts.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior housekeeping experience. The position requires reliability, effective communication, and the ability to work well in a team and under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must have prior housekeeping experience.
• Must be reliable and dependable.

• Must maintain composure under pressure and be able to handle problems calmly.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
• Restock room carts with supplies and maintain equipment cleanliness.
• Report room status, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Department.
• Safely handle and secure assigned pass keys during each shift.
• Turn in lost and found items and document properly.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.

Requirements:

• Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time

• Must have prior housekeeping experience.

• Must have ability to communicate effectively

• Must be reliable and dependable.

• Need to be a team player – if you like to work on an island by yourself, this won’t be a good fit for you!

• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure

• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Stable work history required
