Job summary

Travelodge McAlester in McAlester, OK is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean rooms and guest areas to hotel standards. The role requires reliable, team-oriented individuals with strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restocking carts, reporting issues, and following safety procedures while delivering courteous guest service. Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent and a stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned guest rooms daily according to hotel standards.
• Restock room carts with supplies and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Report room status, damages, or missing items to the Housekeeping Department.
• Safely handle and secure pass keys during each shift.
• Turn in lost and found items and ensure proper documentation.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provide courteous and professional service to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Requirements:

• Be able to manage time effectively, complete required tasks on time
• Must have prior housekeeping experience.
• Must have ability to communicate effectively
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Need to be a team player - if you like to work on an island by yourself, this won't be a good fit for you!
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
• Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Stable work history required
