Position Details

General Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned work areas to be clean, safe, comfortable, sanitary, and attractive, following infection control and universal precautions
• Ensure supplies are available and properly stored; clean and store equipment at shift end
• Report and replace malfunctioning or broken lights and fixtures
• Clean and polish the community environment, including windows, mirrors, walls, ceilings, furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/cooling units, and floors (sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping)
• Perform floor care such as stripping, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, and disinfecting daily
• Conduct thorough cleaning of rooms before admission or after discharge as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in long-term care or with geriatric populations preferred
