Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek in Dallas is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to help keep our memory care community clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and families. This full-time role covers resident suites, common areas, the kitchen, and laundry.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily housekeeping and laundry tasks throughout the community.

• Notify the Maintenance Director of any observed maintenance or repair needs.

Housekeeper – Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek

Full-Time | $15.00 per hour

Position Summary

Iris Memory Care of Turtle Creek is a small, close-knit memory care community dedicated to providing our residents with a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper who takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces for our residents and their families.

The Housekeeper is responsible for the general cleanliness of the community, including resident suites, common areas, the kitchen, and the laundry room. This is a hands-on role that directly supports the comfort, dignity, and well-being of the seniors we serve.

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time position
• Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, plus three days during the week
• Pay: $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Complete daily housekeeping and laundry tasks throughout the community
• Follow cleaning schedules for resident suites, common areas, the kitchen, and laundry areas
• Monitor and communicate the need for cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment
• Notify the Maintenance Director of any observed maintenance or repair needs
• Follow infection control procedures and all safety guidelines
• Observe and report any changes in resident status, needs, or preferences
• Maintain the confidentiality of resident information at all times
• Support a dignified, home-like environment for residents
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed care setting preferred
• Working knowledge of housekeeping and laundry equipment, supplies, and chemicals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, and pull throughout a shift
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
• Ability to provide annual verification of a negative TB skin test
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with residents, families, and team members
