Job summary

Frontier Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for The Preserve at Spring Creek in Garland, TX. This PRN role supports cleaning vacant apartments, common areas, laundry of linens, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

You'll work flexible shifts, follow cleaning best practices, and collaborate with a caring team to uphold the community's standards and resident comfort.

Qualifications

• Able to safely lift 50 pounds independently and more with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Familiarity with elderly population and patient care.
• Willingness to work PRN shifts across all days and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans vacant apartments and readies them for occupancy.
• Maintains cleanliness of residences and common areas on a scheduled basis.
• Keeps all areas clean, neat, attractive and safe for residents, guests and staff.
• Performs laundry of linens including sorting, washing, folding and delivery.
• Maintains housekeeping cart in a clean and orderly manner.
• Notifies management of maintenance needs.
• Follows safety guidelines for chemicals and knows emergency procedures.
• Presents a professional demeanor reflecting Frontier Senior Living's service philosophy.
• Other duties as assigned.

Frontier Senior Living is seeking an outstanding Housekeeper for The Preserve at Spring Creek community located in Garland, TX.

Shifts and Schedules

• PRN (as needed) for all shifts and days

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Thoroughly cleans vacant apartments and readies them for occupancy.
• Assumes cleaning responsibilities for all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis.
• Keeps all areas of the community clean, neat, attractive and safe for residents, guests and team members at all times.
• Laundry of linens including sorting, washing, folding and delivery.
• Maintains housekeeping cart in a clean and orderly manner.
• Notifies the Management of maintenance needs.
• Follows safe guidelines for the use of specific chemicals, must be familiar with emergency procedures if chemicals are misused.
• Presents a professional demeanor that communicates to current and prospective residents the corporate philosophy of service, goodwill and genuine interest in the resident’s unique needs. concerns and complaints with finesse and in a caring, polite and professional manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Able to follow instructions, accept constructive criticism and work harmoniously with others
• Must know how to use common house cleaning devices; brooms, mops, floor waxers and polishers.
• Has familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population.
