Job description

The Housekeeper at the Hampton Inn Concord / Kannapolis is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to ensure a pleasant stay for guests.

Essential Functions

1. Follow company and brand procedures in cleaning and preparing guest rooms.
2. Complete pre-cleaning duties such as stocking supplies and linen for housekeeping carts.
3. Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
4. Perform repetitive tasks like bed making and bathroom cleaning.
5. Replace bed linens and restock guest room supplies.
6. Conduct deep cleaning activities in coordination with maintenance staff.
7. Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
8. Maintain attendance as scheduled.
9. Adhere to personal appearance and grooming standards.
10. Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms.
11. Handle special requests from guests or other departments.
12. Report maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisors.
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

4. Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
