Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Springhill to maintain resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas. You will follow cleaning schedules, use proper solutions, and coordinate with nursing staff for routine cleaning in living and recreational areas.

Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required. Applicants must be 18 years of age. Asbury offers benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, PTO and paid holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas and other areas as directed.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Discards infectious wastes into appropriate containers.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-Time Position (80 hours bi-weekly)
• Hours: 2 shifts available:
  • Tuesday-Saturday 6:30AM-3:00PM OR
  • Sunday-Thursday 6:30AM-3:00PM
• Pay: $15.50/hour
• This position may be eligible for a shift differential depending upon schedule.

Job Description

• Ensures that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Discards infectious wastes into appropriate containers.
