Job summary

Asbury Communities in Erie, PA is hiring for a full-time housekeeping position. Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments and common areas, following infection control procedures, and coordinating with nursing services. Healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

This role offers shifts from Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with some holidays and weekends required. Asbury also provides competitive benefits including medical coverage and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Provides housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas and other areas as directed.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Ensures that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services.
• Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures.

Schedule & Compensation

• Full‑Time Position (80 hours bi‑weekly)
• Hours: 2 shifts available
  • Tuesday–Saturday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Sunday–Thursday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Some holidays and weekends required
• Pay: $15.50 per hour
• This position may be eligible for a shift differential depending on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provides housekeeping services in resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas and other areas as directed.
• Removes dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
• Ensures that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as practical and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc., are properly stored at all times.
• Coordinates daily housekeeping services with nursing services when performing routine cleaning assignments in resident living and/or recreational areas.
• Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control procedures. Discards infectious wastes into appropriate containers.

Qualifications

Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
