Job summary

Morningside Elite Management is seeking a reliable Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable living spaces across our senior living communities in Pennsylvania. You will clean apartments and common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and families who count on us daily.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and respectful, with a focus on safety and proper use of cleaning products. Flexible schedule options are available to support our teams and residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Related experience may be substituted with equivalent education.
• Ability to perform hands-on cleaning tasks safely and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning apartments, hallways, and common areas to maintain a neat, welcoming environment.
• Prepare apartments for move-in and assist with annual cleaning schedules.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with guidelines.
• Keep housekeeping carts and equipment clean and in good working order.
• Attend required training and uphold company standards and procedures.

Position Summary

At Morningside, our Housekeepers help create the warm, welcoming feeling that makes our communities feel like home. As a Housekeeper, you'll take pride in maintaining clean, comfortable apartments and common areas for the residents and families who count on us every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Apartment Readiness
• Perform general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways, and common areas.
• Prepare apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Participate in annual cleaning schedules.
• Safety & Equipment Care
• Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Keep housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
• Participate in the energy awareness program.
• Help maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents and the preservation of equipment.
• Team & Community Standards
• Inform your supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
• Bring a positive, professional attitude to interactions with residents, visitors, families, and fellow team members.
• Attend required training and stay current with Morningside's standards, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in creating a clean, comfortable home for residents.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Comfortable performing hands-on cleaning tasks throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and consistent cleaning standards.
• Safe, proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respectful, discreet presence while working in and around residents' homes.
• Positive, professional demeanor with residents, families, and coworkers.
