Job summary

Morningside House Senior Living in Laurel, MD is seeking a friendly Housekeeper to keep apartments, hallways and common areas clean and welcoming. You will prepare apartments for move-ins, follow safety guidelines, and participate in annual cleaning schedules while upholding resident dignity and comfort.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED (or equivalent experience); no advanced degree required. We offer competitive pay and strong benefits with opportunities for growth.

• High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways and common areas.
• Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Housekeeper participates in annual cleaning schedules.
• Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
• Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
• Attends all required training and staff meetings.

Housekeeper - Responsibilities

• Housekeeper maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Housekeeper performs other duties as assigned.

Housekeeper - Requirements
