Morningside House of Towamencin in Lansdale, PA is hiring a full-time Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of resident apartments and common areas. Reports to the Director of Plant Operations. Competitive benefits are offered by Morningside Elite Management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent) and/or related experience.
• One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning in apartments, hallways and common areas.
• Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Participates in annual cleaning schedules.
• Uses cleaning chemicals safely per guidelines.
• Notifies supervisor of resident issues.
• Maintains housekeeping carts and vacuums.
• Contributes to energy awareness program.
• Attends required training and staff meetings.
• Maintains a safe working environment and equipment.
• Maintains positive, professional demeanor with residents and staff.
• Follows all policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Housekeeper - Summary:

Housekeepers are responsible for maintaining cleanliness of resident’s apartments and common areas as assigned. This position reports to the Director of Plant Operations.

Housekeeper - Responsibilities:

• Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways and common areas.
• Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Housekeeper participates in annual cleaning schedules.
• Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
• Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
• Participates in energy awareness program.
• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Strives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
• Housekeeper maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Housekeeper performs other duties as assigned.

Housekeeper - Requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
