UXU Ranch in Shoshone National Forest, Wyoming, invites applications for seasonal Housekeepers for the 2027 season. You’ll help maintain 10 historic cabins and the Main Lodge, ensuring guests return to a clean, comfortable retreat after mountain adventures and Yellowstone visits.
We value dependable, detail-oriented team players who thrive in a busy ranch setting, with on-site housing, meals, tips, and a chance to explore Wyoming’s outdoors while contributing to a welcoming guest experience.
Season: May 10 – September 10, 2027
Location: Shoshone National Forest, Wyoming (17 miles from Yellowstone National Park)
We’re looking for hardworking, dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers who take pride in their work, enjoy taking care of guests, and understand that on a small dude ranch, everyone pitches in.
Housekeeping is an important part of the UXU guest experience. Our guests come to Wyoming for the horses, mountains, Yellowstone, and Western adventure—but at the end of the day, they also expect to return to a clean, comfortable, well-cared-for cabin.
If you enjoy staying busy, working with a close-knit team, and aren't afraid to jump in wherever you're needed, we'd love to talk with you.

Help in other departments as required
Pitch in wherever needed — ranch life is a team effort
The attitude we're looking for is simple: if something needs doing, we work together and get it done.

Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is helpful, but work ethic, reliability, attitude, and attention to detail matter just as much.
Dependable and ready to work
Detail-oriented and proud of a job well done
Comfortable working independently without constant supervision
A strong team player
Friendly and respectful around guests and coworkers
Physically capable of an active job involving lifting, bending, stairs, laundry, and being on your feet throughout the day
Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and changing priorities
Willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
Willing to help outside your primary department when the ranch needs an extra hand
No Smoking or Pets
This is ranch life. Some days are long, plans occasionally change, and everyone pitches in. A positive attitude goes a long way.
More Than Just a Summer Job..read our reviews!
UXU Ranch has been welcoming guests to this corner of Wyoming since 1929.
You'll live and work surrounded by mountains, wildlife, horses, the Shoshone River, and some of the most spectacular country in the West. Yellowstone National Park is just down the road, and Cody, Wyoming is close enough for a day off while still feeling a world away when you're back at the ranch.
It's hard work. It's not a resort job where every day looks the same.
But for the right person, that's exactly what makes it special.
We're looking for people who want to work hard, become part of a team, meet guests from around the country and the world, and finish the season with some incredible Wyoming memories.
Come work where the West is still the West.
