Job summary

C Lazy U Ranch in Granby, Colorado seeks a Full-time Year-round Housekeeper Supervisor to uphold our 5-Spur service standards and deliver exceptional guest experiences. • Three years of hospitality management experience at a top-rated venue.
• A bachelor’s degree in hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests, members, and employees.
• Ability to handle complaints and difficult customers politely and professionally, resolving issues quickly.
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft365 Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Publisher. Oracle OperaCloud, Simphony or other hotel PMS/POS systems experience a plus.
• Skilled in preparing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate discounts, interest and percentages.
• Adept at analyzing financial reports and identifying action plans.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s auto insurance carrier.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule over 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends and holidays.

OBJECTIVE:

Work directly with the Assistant General Manager to help manage the day-to-day operation of the housekeeping department to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment. Works directly with the Assistant General Manager to meet 5-Spur standards across all aspects of the housekeeping department. Has a developed eye for detail to ensure the cleanliness of all guest cabins, lodge common areas including lobbies, bathrooms, hallways, clubrooms, fitness center, and hot tub areas. Exhibits leadership qualities and adheres to Ranch culture and 5-Spur Service. Always maintains a professional appearance and attitude.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstrates standards and procedures for housekeeping staff
• Manages the housekeeping department. To include interviewing and hiring as needed
• Responsible for training all new staff members to C Lazy U 5 Star standard
• Plans, assigns, and directs work of housekeeping staff as well as appraises performance, rewards and disciplines staff
• Addresses any complaints and resolves problems
• Coaches and reinforces positive attitudes and demeanors
• Reinforces housekeeping standards
• Implements weekly meetings/task lists coordinated with Assistant General Manager for housekeeping staff
• Assists in planning staff schedules to ensure adequate service per needs of fiscal year’s budget
• Manages inventory tracking
• Orders supplies and maintain positive vendor relationships
• Oversees updates of all training and employee manuals
• Prepares weekly housekeeping reports
• Assists housekeepers with cleaning cabins and common areas when needed
• Inspects and evaluates physical condition of establishment, with a Primary focus on guest cabins
• Ensures cleanliness and sanitization of cabins to a standard needed to meet deadlines (summer Sundays, and heavy turnover days)
• Inspection of common areas, and cabins daily prior to guest arrival, reporting and delegation of items that do not meet standards to appropriate staff
• Has working knowledge of all housekeeping equipment.
• Manages inventories and provides Assistant General Manager with a list of needed supplies, and equipment as required
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Attends all required management meetings
