Job summary

The Center for Disability Services in the Capital District is seeking Housekeepers to support housekeeping, laundry, and shopping services across our programs. You may be assigned work in one or more programs to meet division needs.

We require a NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation; training and driver status within the first six months of employment are part of the role. Compensation includes benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions, communicate, perform simple math and know basic weights and measures.
• Must have reliable transportation and a NYS Driver’s License; driver status within 6 months is required.
• Less than 1 year of job-related experience in housekeeping or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs housekeeping, laundry, and shopping services.
• May be assigned work in one or more programs according to division needs.
