Job summary

The Center for Disability Services is hiring Housekeepers to provide housekeeping, laundry, and shopping services across programs in the Capital District. Join a mission-driven team in a role that helps individuals maintain independence and a comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, and shopping support, with assignments across multiple programs as needed. A valid NYS Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions, communicate, perform simple math functions and know basic weights and measures.
• Specialized license and training: Must have reliable transportation and a valid NYS Driver’s License, as obtaining Center authorized driver status within the first six months of employment is required.
• Less than 1 year of job related experience, specifically in housekeeping or related field.
