Job summary

Trump Winery’s Albemarle Estate invites applications for a Housekeeper. The role is based at the Virginia estate, located about 20 minutes south of Downtown Charlottesville and 15 minutes north of Scottsville, with 40 hours per week, primarily 12pm–8pm, including some holidays.

The position offers $18–$20 per hour base pay with an evening shift differential, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities within a luxury hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, great customer service skills, and professional attitude.
• Previous luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and follow instructions promptly.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas and guest rooms to high standards using standard cleaning equipment.
• Perform laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and pressing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in back-of-house areas and housekeeping carts.
• Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly manner.
• Carry the company radio and coordinate with other departments on room status.

Albemarle Estate at Trump Winery offers ten luxurious guest rooms in its 26,000-square-foot 45-room mansion that has been called "one of America's true treasures."

Position: Housekeeper

Location: 20 Minutes south of Downtown Charlottesville, 15 minutes north of Scottsville

Hours: 40 hours/ 5 days per week, weekdays and weekends including some holidays. 12pm to 8pm and some flexibility for 8am-4pm

Wage: $18 - $20/hr base plus shift differential for evening shifts

Essential Duties

• Clean and maintain common areas and guest rooms while keeping to the highest standards set by management using standard cleaning equipment such as carts, vacuums, mops, brooms, and various chemicals.


• Perform laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, folding and pressing


• Maintain cleanliness and organization in back of house areas and housekeeping carts and caddies


• Acknowledge and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly manner


• Carry company radio and correspond with other departments on room statuses

Requirements

• Attention to detail, great customer service skills, and professional attitude


• Previous luxury hospitality experience preferred


• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are required to perform job duties.


• Follow detailed instructions and complete tasks promptly


• Ability to work independently with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance


• Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 70 pounds, bend over, kneel, twist, reach overhead, climb stairs, ladders, and walk on varied surfaces (paved, incline, uneven, etc).
