East Towne is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of our facility for residents. You will perform general cleaning, laundry, waste disposal, and inventory tasks while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, some housekeeping experience, knowledge of cleaning products and safety practices, and a compassionate approach to working with the elderly.

Responsabilidades

• Cleaning & Maintenance: vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping to keep common areas and resident rooms clean and safe.
• Laundry Services: wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff.
• Waste Management: dispose of trash and recycling properly and keep waste areas organized.
• Inventory Management: restock cleaning supplies and equipment; report shortages or issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: follow safety protocols to maintain a hygienic environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: work with staff to keep the facility well-maintained and residents comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: interact with residents in a friendly and respectful manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.


• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.


• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.


• Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues.


• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.


• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.


• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)


• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred)


• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety protocols


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
