Job Summary:

To clean resident rooms and other interior and exterior facility areas under supervision, maintaining a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents.

Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning Resident Rooms & Common Areas: Vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, ensuring safety, comfort, and attractiveness, safeguarding personal items, and cleaning spills or soiled areas.
2. Safety and Infection Control: Adhering to procedures regarding hazardous materials, equipment storage, Universal Precautions, infection control, and safety practices. Reporting hazards promptly.
3. In-Service Functions: Attending orientation and ongoing training as required by state regulations.
4. Residents' Rights: Understanding and promoting residents' rights.
5. Laundry: Collecting, laundering, and distributing linens and garments following facility procedures.
6. Administrative and Supply Functions: Reporting incidents, maintaining cleaning schedules, coordinating services, and ensuring supplies and equipment are maintained.
7. Floor and Exterior Care: Stripping, waxing, buffing floors, moving furniture, and cleaning exterior areas.
8. Staff Development: Participating in training and staff meetings.
9. Other Duties: As assigned.
