Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Box Elder is seeking a hotel housekeeping associate in Box Elder, SD. You will clean guest rooms to brand standards and assist guests with requests, helping maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.

Flexibility to work weekends/holidays, professional appearance, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required. LIV Hospitality supports daily pay options and employee discounts for staff wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms to brand or hotel standards to ensure availability of vacant and clean rooms.
• Responds to guests and coworkers in a friendly, positive manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards for the property per guidelines.
• Fulfill special guest requests in a timely manner, such as extra towels or replacing faulty equipment.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms in accordance with established company, brand or hotel standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean rooms.
• Responds to the needs of guests and coworkers in a friendly, positive manner.
• Within guidelines established by the hotel or management company, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards for the property.
• Responsible for carrying out special requests from guests in a timely manner, such as extra towels, replacing faulty equipment, etc.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is a plus, but is not required.
• Must be flexible (work weekends and holidays), and be a team player.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Attention to detail and ability meet high standards of room cleanliness.
• Must be able to properly use cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, twist, lift, push, pull and carry loads in excess of 100 lbs.
• Must be 16 years or older.
