Job summary

Viva Senior Living at Bel Air is seeking a dependable Housekeeper to maintain clean and welcoming spaces for residents, families, and staff. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, with benefits including health insurance and PTO.

You will clean apartments and common areas, follow safety and infection control procedures, and support a respectful environment for older adults. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and manage daily cleaning assignments efficiently.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate professionally with older adults, including those living with memory loss.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, and vacuum residents' apartments, bathrooms, and community common areas.
• Maintain the overall cleanliness, appearance, and sanitation of the community.
• Empty residents' trash cans and remove trash from designated areas throughout the building.
• Strip residents' beds of used linens and remove used towels for laundering.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and other surfaces.
• Maintain clean and orderly hallways, common rooms, and other shared spaces.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and infection prevention practices.
• Properly use and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate supervisor.
• Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and personal belongings while performing assigned duties.
• Provide courteous and respectful interactions with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
