Fairfield Inn & Suites Austin Northwest / Domain Area

The Housekeeper is primarily responsible for cleaning and preparing attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Follow company and brand procedures in cleaning and preparing guest rooms.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties such as stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping carts.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Perform repetitive duties such as bed making and bathroom cleaning.
• Replace bed linens and replenish guest room supplies.
• Conduct deep cleaning activities in conjunction with the maintenance department as needed.
• Interact with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance as scheduled.
• Adhere to company and brand standards of personal appearance and grooming.
• Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms per shift.
• Complete special requests from guests or other departments.
• Report maintenance issues or lost and found items to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Effective and clear communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, and weekends as required.

• Must be 18 years or older.
