Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a part-time Housekeeper at Barclay House of Augusta to keep the facility clean, safe, and sanitary for residents and staff. The shift runs weekends 9 AM–3 PM, with two additional weekdays as discussed, and flexibility is available.

Candidates must have a clean background, be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen, and demonstrate a caring heart with a willingness to serve seniors.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and willingness to serve others.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Desire to work with seniors.
• Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep facility clean, safe, and sanitary.
• Clean resident rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Use appropriate chemicals and supplies per procedure.
• Transport trash and hazardous waste to disposal area and replenish supplies.

We are currently looking for a Housekeeper for Barclay House of Augusta.

The position is part-time and include weekend hours 9-3 with an additional 2 days during the week. There is some flexibility with hours, which will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must have a clean background and ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Primary Responsibilities of the Housekeeper:

• Responsible for to assuring that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.
• Performs routine cleaning of resident rooms, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways.
• Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure and state requirements
• Uses and maintains equipment properly, transports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area and replenishes supplies as required.
