Job summary

Smith Farms Senior Living Facility is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean, comfortable spaces for residents. The role focuses on cleaning residents’ rooms and common areas, with emphasis on safety and respect for memory care residents.

You will work as part of a compassionate team, communicating with staff and families to ensure a cheerful, timely environment. Prior residential cleaning experience is preferred and reliable transportation is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years old? (Not specified in text)
• Able to pass a criminal background check will be required.
• Residential cleaning experience preferred.
• The capacity to work as a team.
• Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.

• Primary duty will be washing laundry
• Cleaning resident’s apartments: mopping, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms
• Work consistently and cooperatively with residents, coworkers and family members
• Be mindful to keep all chemicals out of the residents’ areas
• Be economical with supplies and equipment
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect
• Protect residents from accidents and injuries
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or executive director

Smith Farms Senior Living Facility is looking for a Housekeeper. The housekeeper is an essential member of the team. The responsibilities are cleaning residents’ rooms. We are looking for staff to enhance the lives of our residents by being a positive part of their environment. This will be accomplished by completing your tasks in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating with others to attain goals. Experience working in a memory care unit is recommended.
