Job summary

Bridgeway Park Grand Haven Senior Living Facility is seeking a Housekeeper to support a safe, clean environment for residents. You will perform room cleaning, laundry, and routine housekeeping tasks with a cheerful, team-oriented approach.

Required: ability to pass a background check, high school diploma or GED, and 18+; experience in residential cleaning preferred. Benefits include orientation pay, PTO and options for pay access. On-site work with a compassionate team.

Responsibilities

• Primary duty will be washing laundry.

• Handle chemicals safely and use supplies economically.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect.
• Protect residents from accidents and injuries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Bridgeway Park Grand Haven Senior Living Facility is looking for a Housekeeper. The housekeeper is an essential member of the team. The responsibilities are cleaning residents’ rooms. We are looking for staff to enhance the lives of our residents by being a positive part of their environment. This will be accomplished by completing your tasks in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating with others to attain goals. Experience working in a memory care unit is recommended.

Duties:

• Primary duty will be washing laundry
• Cleaning resident’s apartments: mopping, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms
• Work consistently and cooperatively with residents, coworkers and family members
• Be mindful to keep all chemicals out of the residents’ areas
• Be economical with supplies and equipment
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect
• Protect residents from accidents and injuries
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or executive director

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Residential cleaning experience preferred
