Job summary

Sonesta Select Atlanta Midtown/Georgia Tech is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and public areas. The role includes making beds, doing laundry, stocking rooms, and maintaining hotel standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, a team player, with strong time management and communication skills and at least 1 year of housekeeping experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional housekeeping or similar experience.
• Graduated high school, GED or equivalent.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and products.

Responsibilities

• Manage cleanliness of common spaces including hallways, restrooms, and lobby.
• Track rooms cleaned and document lost & found, damage, and repairs.
• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and general cleaning duties.
• Respond to general guest questions during stay.
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy to hotel standards before arrival.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team-player, and a highly organized professional.

• Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby
• Track rooms cleaned and document lost and found items, damage, and repairs needed
• Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned
• Reply to general questions guests have during their stay
• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to our hotel’s standards before guests arrive
• Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
• Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
• 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or similar position

Compensation

$15 - $16 hourly
