Job summary

A CMH Housekeeper will be responsible for providing a clean, safe and friendly environment for patients, visitors, and associates by providing housekeeping services. The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning tasks in patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, waiting areas, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department in the pursuit of high quality standards and results.

Job Requirements

This position requires heavy physical effort (lifts/carry up to 50 lbs); prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking; considerable reaching stooping, bending kneeling and crouching. This position will be exposed to housekeeping/cleaning agents/chemicals; works in precarious or slippery locations and high locations on ladders and scaffolding etc.)
