Job summary

The Benedictine facility is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across resident rooms, restrooms, and bathing areas in a healthcare setting. You will follow infection control guidelines and ensure rooms are ready for new admissions.

You will also handle resident discharges, restocking supplies like soap and paper products, and operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums and carpet cleaners. The position offers robust benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a healthcare setting.

• Operates and cares for housekeeping equipment (vacuum, carts, carpet cleaners, etc.).

Job description

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.

Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.

• Experience in a healthcare setting.
