Job summary

The Benedictine Health System Nazareth is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness throughout the facility, including resident rooms and public spaces, in line with infection control guidelines.

You will prepare rooms for new admissions, stock essentials, and operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and carts. A high school diploma and healthcare experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness within the facility, including resident/patient rooms, public and resident restrooms, and shower and bathing areas by following policies/procedures and infection control guidelines.

Responsibilities

Completes resident discharges and prepares the room for next admission. Ensures all areas are properly stocked with items such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operates and cares for all housekeeping equipment including vacuums, housekeeping carts, carpet cleaning machines, etc.
