Job summary

The Belmont at Twin Creeks is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to perform scheduled cleaning tasks under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor. You will clean patient rooms, common areas, and facilities while using proper chemicals and following safety protocols.

Responsibilities include mopping, dusting, window washing, vacuuming, and restocking supplies. Attend in-services and ensure patient safety while performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily per facility protocol.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions and mop floors as directed.
• Empties trash, replaces liners, and disposes of trash properly.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows with appropriate chemicals/equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules.
• Attends weekly in-services and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.
• Ensures patient/resident safety and performs other duties as assigned.

1p-9pmThe Belmont at Twin CreeksJob Summary:The overall purpose of the Housekeeping Assistant position is to perform scheduled housekeeping tasks as may be assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor. This position may mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, etc. and generally clean furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware.Qualifications:Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.Essential Functions:Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas on a daily basis and in accordance with Facility protocols.Uses proper chemicals in proper portions.
