The Crescent in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to perform scheduled housekeeping tasks in patient rooms and common areas. You will mop, dust, wash windows, vacuum, and help maintain a clean, safe environment under the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience in institutional housekeeping or maintenance is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily according to facility protocols.
• Uses proper chemicals in proper portions; mop floors (dust, wet, or spot-mop).
• Empties trash, replaces liners, and disposes of trash correctly.
• Vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Washes and dries windows using proper chemicals and equipment.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance.
• Requests needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules.
