Job summary

McCollister’s Westampton Township, NJ is seeking a Household Helpers / Driver Assistant for regular full-time work. The role supports the driver in pickup and delivery of household goods, ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth branch operations.

Responsibilities include assisting with shipment plans, paperwork, and communicating with customers and dispatchers. A valid Real ID is required for access to military bases and a driver’s license is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the household moving industry.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Must be organized and able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Help execute shipment plans within the scope of branch operations and United Van Lines.
• Manage workload to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations.
• Assist driver to operate vehicle and equipment safely.
• Protect customer products and facilities.
• Identify significant customer service problems to the driver for resolution.
• Maintain accurate order status for accountability.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Assist driver as needed.
