Job summary

Heartbeet Lifesharing, a Vermont-based non-profit therapeutic community, seeks Householders to support individuals with developmental disabilities in residential or non-residential settings. You will manage house teams, assist Friends with daily life, and handle administrative functions including medication tracking and monthly/annual notes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to manage daily life tasks and household routines.
• Willingness to mentor volunteers and caregivers and manage household budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal/hygiene care and daily living activities.
• Provide physical and emotional support and create social opportunities.
• Promote social harmony and facilitate medical care needs.
• Manage household budget and administrative tasks including notes and reports.
• Lead or participate in crew spaces for vocational skill building.
• Supervise volunteers and caregivers and mentor team members.
• Maintain records and ensure compliance with Vermont TCR regulations.
