Kindred Hospital Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to lead the nursing staff, assess patient needs, and coordinate care for longer-term recovery patients. The role involves organizing training and guiding unit staff in clinical practices to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license and BLS certification, with at least two years of hospital nursing and 1–2 years in a supervisory/leadership capacity.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid state RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.

• Assesses patient needs; participates in providing nursing care; ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately.

• Maintains supply inventory records; orders supplies and equipment, as necessary.

Kindred Hospital Rancho is a 55-bed long-term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. We partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. For those who need special care, we offer an eight-bed ICU and three negative pressure rooms. We are located near downtown Rancho Cucamonga just off of Foothill Boulevard with close proximity to many shops and restaurants.

Job Summary

Supervises nursing staff, assesses patients needs and provides nursing care for patients. Plans and organizes training for unit staff members and participates in guidance and educational programs.

Essential Functions

• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.

Pay Range: $52.32-$63.00/hr.
