Job summary

Kindred Hospital Rancho is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, assess patient needs, and provide direct nursing care within a 55-bed long-term acute care setting. The role focuses on planning and organizing unit training and guiding educational programs to ensure quality patient care.

The position requires at least two years of hospital nursing experience with 1–2 years of supervisory experience, a valid RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited school.
• Valid state RN license and BLS certification.
• Two years of hospital nursing experience; 1–2 years in a supervisory/lead role.

• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
• Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.

Kindred Hospital Rancho is a 55-bed long-term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. We partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. For those who need special care, we offer an eight-bed ICU and three negative pressure rooms. We are located near downtown Rancho Cucamonga just off of Foothill Boulevard with close proximity to many shops and restaurants.

Job Summary

Supervises nursing staff, assesses patients needs and provides nursing care for patients. Plans and organizes training for unit staff members and participates in guidance and educational programs.

Essential Functions

• Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
• Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Assesses patient needs; participates in providing nursing care; ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately
• Maintains patient health care records.
• Maintains supply inventory records; orders supplies and equipment, as necessary.

Pay Range: $52.32-$63.00/hr.
