Summary

The House Supervisor provides supervisory coverage of the Nursing Department and other patient care areas. Responsibilities include managerial and clinical liaison duties between unit managers, department directors, and the administrator-on-call in their absence. Knowledge of Utilization Review rules and regulations is essential to assist physicians and staff in assigning admission status. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain communication and reporting systems among staff across all shifts and with other departments.
• Effectively address complaints from patients, families, and referral sources.
• Assess patient care requirements by making rounds in NARC and other hospital areas as needed.
• Develop and implement staffing plans based on patient acuity, census, and staff availability.
