House Supervisor RN - PRN, Nights

The 62-bed facility, located on the campus of Aiken Regional Medical Centers, is accredited by The Joint Commission. The House Supervisor RN provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Duties:

  • Performs nursing assessments.
  • Performs group psychoeducation.
  • Performs family psychoeducation.
  • Performs individual psychoeducation.
  • Develops nursing related programs as appropriate.
  • Performs initial precertifications and concurrant reviews on PHP patients
  • Tracks daily attendance, admissions and discharges of PHP patients.
  • Participates in the development of treatment plans.
  • Reviews and updates treatment plans as needed.
  • Interacts with community agencies to establish mental health network.
  • Charts every session.
  • Participates in program development meetings.
  • Communicates and coordinates services with supervisor.
  • Assists the Assessment and UR department as needed and able (e.g. answering RESPOND calls).
  • Compiles and maintains accurate patient charts
  • Reviews charts for physician orders and assures orders are completed as necessary

Work experience requirements: Minimum three years experience in mental health setting recommended. Assessment and referral experience preferred. Experience in leadership, scheduling, etc.

Required licenses/ certifications/courses Must have BH experience. Registered Nurse and having South Carolina state licensure for that field
