House Supervisor – Behavioral Health – Garland, TX

Perimeter Healthcare is a leading behavioral health provider operating acute psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers and outpatient counseling centers. The House Supervisor will lead nursing services in our facility located in North Texas. This role ensures high standards of patient care, compliance with regulatory requirements and effective staff supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the CNO in directing all nursing services, including evaluating, reviewing, designing and implementing training events for RN/CNA/MHT staff.
• Develop, implement and evaluate policies, programs and services consistent with facility goals.
• Participate in performance improvement team and review medical records for appropriate documentation.
• Round the unit majority of the time; act as a resource for patient advocacy.
• Assist in staff scheduling, recruitment, orientation and evaluation; provide supervision and direction to all staff.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, state regulatory and patient rights standards; implement Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies.
• Document nursing care 1:1 hours and risk manager reporting.
• Perform as on-site administrator when duty; serve in admissions department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training and Experience Required:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Valid licensure and registration by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• At least three years of clinical leadership experience in a behavioral‑psychiatric hospital setting required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of the Joint Commission, CMS and OSHA requirements, and state, federal, regulatory requirements preferred.
• Successful completion of Handle with Care or Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 30 days of employment preferred.
