Prime Fields Olympia Fields Hospital seeks a House Supervisor RN to assume administrative responsibility for all department functions during shifts. You will supervise, support, and direct staff while ensuring efficient patient flow and high quality care across the hospital.

Qualifications include active RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and supervisory or extensive acute care experience. The role includes after-hours coordination and collaboration with medical staff, with a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certificate required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Three years of acute care nursing experience.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative leadership for all department service functions on shift.
• Conducts frequent rounds to ensure quality of care and patient flow.
• Directly supervises and supports all staff hospital-wide.
• Extends administrative scope during absence of Hospital Administration.
• Ensures efficient operations and patient flow across the hospital.
• Performs direct patient care only when needed within scope of practice.
• Oversees deployment and orientation of temporary staff.
• Assists scheduling after-hour procedures and standby call staffing.
• Enhances patient and family experience through clear communication of policies.

Responsibilities

The House Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who assumes administrative responsibility for the management of all department service functions on his/her shift. Makes frequent rounds throughout facility to monitor the delivery of care, oversee the quality of services and direct patient care activities as needed. Directly supervises, provides support to and communicates with all staff house-wide. In the absence of the Hospital Administrative staff, the administrative scope and responsibility is extended to all services within the hospital. Ensures efficient operations and patient flow throughout the hospital. Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice and competence. Ensures all temporary agency personnel are deployed and oriented in compliance with hospital policy. Assist medical staff with scheduling after hour procedures and calling in stand-by call staff members. Enhances the patient/family experience through supportive interactions and explanations of hospital policies as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.

2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

4. One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.

5. Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience

6. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $38.59 to $58.49 The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
