Job summary

UW Health East Madison Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to oversee staffing, schedules, and patient flow in the 75% FTE evening/night shifts with rotating weekends/holidays. The role requires RN licensure in Wisconsin and a strong background in acute care nursing.

Ideal candidates will have an associate degree (bachelor preferred), CPR certification, and a track record in leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 3 years of acute clinical nursing experience required
• Licensed RN in Wisconsin required
• CPR certification required

• ACLS/PALS preferred

Job description

Work Schedule:

75% FTE, 12 hour evening/night shift with rotating weekends and holidays. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential. You will work at the East Madison Hospital located in Madison, WI.

Pay:

• Additional components of compensation may include:
• Shift Differentials: $4/hour evening, $5/hour night and 4.25/hour weekend as applicable for hours worked.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor to:

• Use your knowledge of policies, procedures and practices of the state, university, hospital and Department of Nursing as they relate to the operations of the hospital and clinics.
• Bring your knowledge of staffing models and oversee staffing.
• Prioritize workload /assignments.
• Utilize your strong professional communication and collaboration skills to provide constructive feedback and resolve conflicts.
