Mercy Hospital Springfield is seeking a Full-Time House Supervisor to oversee daily operations across patient care departments and supervise staff. Hours: 0530-1800, rotation for weekends and holidays, at Mercy Hospital Springfield.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, decision-making under pressure, and maintaining a safe, high-quality care environment. RN licensure, BLS/ACLS prior to first shift are required; hospital experience preferred.

Overview:

The House Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of various patient care departments within the hospital. This role ensures efficient workflow, adherence to policies, and high-quality support services that contribute to excellent patient care. The House Supervisor role also will be supervising staff, coordinating activities, addressing issues as they arise, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate from a school of nursing.

• Experience: Three years of hospital nursing experience.

• Licensure: Current RN (Registered Nurse) License in the applicable state of practice.

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS before beginning first shift

Preferred:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing

• Experience: Five years of hospital nursing experience

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Demonstrate critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
