Baptist Health is seeking a House Patient Care Coordinator in Corbin, KY. This Full-Time, first shift role supports Nursing Administration by coordinating staffing, patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

The role serves as a clinical nursing resource, leads during codes and emergencies, and addresses concerns from patients, families, staff and physicians. BSN and Kentucky RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Minimum of three years of job-related experience.
• Active RN license with the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.
• Certifications listed (BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, 12-Lead ECG, Nurse Wound Care, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia, Avade Training) within designated post-hire timeframes.
• Clinical management experience preferred.

The Nursing Administration Department provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for nursing services throughout the organization. Nursing Administration is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting nursing staff, promoting professional development, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

The House Patient Care Coordinator oversees hospital operations while supporting safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role serves as a clinical nursing resource, coordinates staffing and patient flow, addresses safety and operational concerns, and supports admissions, transfers, and discharges. More than 50% of the role is dedicated to coordinating and supporting direct patient care activities.
