Job summary

Brighter Day in Enid, OK is seeking a House Manager to oversee direct care for individuals with developmental disabilities, supervise staff, and support daily living activities in home settings.

The role requires compassion, reliability, and strong communication; orientation is provided during a two-week paid program, M-F 9:30am-5:00pm, with hours including 3:00 PM-11:00 PM and 7:00 AM-3:00 PM plus on-call 24/7.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities or similar populations preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively with people with diverse needs and backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills to interact with individuals, families, and team members.
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced, team orientated environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
• Assist with activities of daily living
• Implement individualized care plans and follow specific protocols
• Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence
• Assist with medication administration and documentation as required
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
• Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
• Manage Staff
